Waiver Eligibility

Waiver of Article Processing Charges (APCs)

The International Journal of Art, Culture and Communication (IJACC) offers a waiver of Article Processing Charges (APCs) for authors who meet certain criteria. The waiver is intended to support researchers from developing countries and institutions with limited funding.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a waiver, authors must meet the following criteria:

  • The author must be from a developing country as defined by the World Bank.
  • The author must be affiliated with an institution with limited funding.
  • The author must be the corresponding author on the article.

Supporting Documentation

Authors who wish to apply for a waiver must submit the following supporting documentation:

  • A letter from the corresponding author's institution confirming that the author is affiliated with the institution and that the institution has limited funding.
  • A copy of the corresponding author's passport.

Application Process

To apply for a waiver, please submit the following documents to the IJACC editorial office:

  • A completed waiver application form.
  • The supporting documentation listed above.

Decision-Making Process

Waiver applications will be reviewed by the IJACC editorial board, who will make a decision based on the eligibility criteria and the supporting documentation provided.

Notification of Decision

Authors will be notified of the decision on their waiver application within three weeks of submitting their application.

Please note that the waiver of APCs does not cover the cost of English language editing or any other optional services.
