Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Policy Of "International Journal of Art, Culture and Communication"

Introduction

The "International Journal of Art, Culture and Communication" (IJACC) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic rigor and integrity. To ensure the quality of published articles, IJACC employs a rigorous peer review process that involves the evaluation of manuscripts by experts in the relevant fields.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to IJACC undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are concealed from each other. This process helps to ensure that the review process is fair and impartial.

The peer review process is as follows:

  1. Initial Submission: Upon submission, the manuscript is assigned to an Associate Editor who is an expert in the relevant field. The Associate Editor assesses the manuscript for overall fit with the journal's scope and quality of writing.

  2. Peer Review: If the Associate Editor deems the manuscript to be of sufficient quality, it is then sent to two external reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The reviewers are asked to provide a detailed evaluation of the manuscript, including its originality, methodology, findings, and contribution to the field.

  3. Review Comments and Decision: The Associate Editor compiles the reviewers' comments and makes a recommendation to the Editor-in-Chief regarding the manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief makes a final decision on whether to accept, reject, or request revisions to the manuscript.

  4. Revision and Resubmission: If the manuscript is accepted with revisions, the authors are provided with the reviewers' comments and are asked to address them. The revised manuscript is then sent back to the Associate Editor for evaluation.

Reviewer Guidelines

Reviewers are expected to provide a detailed and constructive evaluation of the manuscript, including the following:

  • Originality: Does the manuscript present new and original research or insights?

  • Methodology: Is the methodology sound and appropriate for the research question?

  • Findings: Are the findings well-supported by the data?

  • Contribution: What is the contribution of the manuscript to the field?

  • Writing: Is the manuscript well-written and easy to understand?

Reviewers are also expected to be fair and impartial in their evaluations. They should not allow their personal biases to influence their judgment.

Confidentiality

All reviewers are expected to keep the identities of the authors and the content of the manuscript confidential. They should not share the manuscript with anyone else or discuss it with anyone other than the Associate Editor.

Conclusion

The peer review process is an essential part of ensuring the quality of published articles. IJACC is committed to maintaining a rigorous peer review process that is fair, impartial, and confidential.
